Zahra Syeda

As a Registered Psychotherapist, Zahra Syeda (she/her) can help you overcome stress, work related stress, anxiety, depression, phobias, childhood traumas or relationship problems. Her background as a Medical doctor enriches her with deep insight into the etiology and pathophysiology of illnesses and the prognosis of these medical conditions. During an online session, she guides her clients facing various challenges in life, supports goal-setting, personal and professional development, and behavior modification. Through collaborative strategies, she helps people achieve their goals and assist them to take the actions necessary to take control of forthcoming challenges in their lives.

Her work incorporates a variety of approaches including:​ Solution Focused Therapy (SFT) Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) Trauma Informed Therapy (TIC) Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) Mindfulness-based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) Hypnotherapy and Relaxation Techniques
